我们这一代人都是在温室里长大的孩子，住在城市远离农村，不知道农民伯伯种庄稼的辛苦!更不知道一日三餐所吃的粮食是怎么种出来的，除了从书本上了解到“谁知盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦”的知识以外，就只能通过在农村长大的父母口中听到关于农耕时节的一些事情。我曾听爸爸讲述过60年代种植稻谷，亩产都不高，每年的清明节开始从买稻种、下秧、插秧、除草到收割稻子的整个过程。常年面朝黄土背朝天，到头来还是吃不饱肚子!直到在您的科学实验带领下，有了“杂交水稻”的成功，才解决了我国的粮食欠缺问题，现在我们已经不但是吃得饱，而且还吃得好，家家户户的生活水平越来越高了!
