看了这些资料以后，我已深刻地认识到我国生态破坏严重性。我想：要保护和改善我们的生活环境，需要我们每个人都行动起来。我作为一名小学生，能对保护环境做些什么呢？今天，我从妈妈订阅的《读者》上看到因我国的黄河上游水土流失严重，为了拯救我们的母亲河，读者杂志社举办“读者林”捐款活动，所有读者的捐款都用于黄河上游的植树造林。有一位小朋友把自己准备买玩具汽车的钱捐了出来。我看后非常感动，也决定把自己多年积攒下来的压岁钱拿出来，让妈妈带我到邮局把钱寄去，希望能用它来多种几棵树，保护我们的母亲河。
