xx年3月7日，5年前的今天（3月7日发的报），大南山发生了一场火灾，导致约0.8公顷的山林烧毁。大火烧后第5天，又刚好是植树节，我们全家一起去南山植树。那天植树的人特别多，我们因为怕下午人多，所以是早上上的山，可是到了才发现，好多人跟我们的想法是一样的。我们被淹没在人群里面。准备好食物和水，我们和人流一起上山了。

到了被火烧的地方，我们大吃一惊，好的树的树皮被烧掉了，到处全是大火留下的“痕迹”。地上一片狼藉。有好多大树都因为被大火烧了，被运下山去了。它们在山上呆了几十年，甚至几百年，现在全却因为一场大火，搬了家。真不知道是谁导致南山被烧的。我们全家一起去领了一颗小树苗，一个铲子和一个浇水的壶。种树这重大的任务就交给了我。小树苗的底部是一个黑色的塑料袋，我以此当做这棵树的标记。我拿着看铲子，找了块松软的地，铲了起来，铲成一个小坑，再把小树苗放进去，把土再填回去，然后再浇上一点水，一颗小树苗就诞生了。种好树时已经临近中午，我们只好和小树告别，回家了。

Then I put the saplings in, filled the soil back, and poured some water on it. A sapling was born. It was almost noon when we planted the trees, so we had to say goodbye to the trees and go home.
一个星期后，当我再次来到南山时，却发现我种的小树苗找不到了，不知道是被别了挖了栽到别的地方去了，还是黑色塑料的底已经深深的扎进了土了。我非常希望是第二种。
A week later, when I came to Nanshan again, I found that the seedlings I planted couldn't be found. I don't know whether they were dug and planted elsewhere, or whether the bottom of black plastic had been deeply embedded in the soil. I really hope it's the second.
事隔五年，每当我去登山的时候，都会去那块曾经被烧的书那里，寻找那颗曾经的小树苗，如今的“大树”。
