今天是清明节，我们一家早早地就起床，准备去给祖先扫墓。

我们一家人座上了车，汽车飞驰在去向家坝水电站施工区的快速通道上。我情不自禁地想起唐代诗人杜牧的一首诗：“清明时节雨纷纷，路上行人欲断魂;借问酒家何处有，牧童遥指杏花村。”
Our family got on the bus and the car sped on the fast track to Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station construction area. I can't help but think of a poem by Du Mu, a poet of Tang Dynasty: "in the clear and bright season, there is a lot of rain, and pedestrians on the road want to break their souls; by asking where there is a restaurant, the shepherd boy points to apricot blossom village."
车一会儿就到了安边小镇上，我们来到七外公家休息一会儿，又开始上路，大家要步行到祖先的墓地。一路上，到处呈现一派春机勃勃的景象。姐姐和弟弟时不时地去摘一些路边的野花，走过一段铁路，我像会飞檐走壁的一样冲了上去。
After a while, we arrived at Anbian town. We came to qiwaigong's home to have a rest and started to go on the road again. We had to walk to the ancestral cemetery. Along the way, spring is full of vitality everywhere. My elder sister and younger brother go to pick some wild flowers on the side of the road from time to time, walk a section of railway, and I rush up as if I could fly on the eaves and walk on the wall.
到了墓地，舅舅把水果等祭品供上，点燃了香烛，还在酒杯里倒上些酒，简单的祭拜仪式开始了。姐姐先给祖先磕完头，就给祖先烧起钱纸，因为姐姐快要初中毕业了，她希望祖先能够保佑她今年考上理想的学校。我也争先恐后地跟了上来，跪在地上给祖先磕了三个头，拿起一些钱纸烧给祖先，希望祖先能保佑我好好学习，今后成为一名勇敢的军人。这时，不懂事的小弟弟往燃烧的钱纸里扔草，被我及时制止了。
When I arrived at the cemetery, my uncle offered fruits and other sacrifices, lit candles, poured some wine into the glass, and the simple worship ceremony began. Elder sister kowtows to her ancestors first, and then burns money paper for them. Because elder sister is about to graduate from junior high school, she hopes her ancestors can bless her to enter the ideal school this year. I also rushed to follow up, knelt on the ground to kowtow three heads to my ancestors, picked up some money paper and burned it to them. I hope my ancestors can bless me to study hard and become a brave soldier in the future. At this time, my little brother threw grass into the burning money paper, which I stopped in time.
外公走了过来，告诉我说：“这是你祖外公的坟墓，祖外公就是***妈的爷爷。”我想了想，心里很不是滋味：“为什么祖先们就死了呢?”我又发现：“我第一次来，就认出了祖先的坟墓，真难怪是我的祖先啊!”我眼睛有些红，快要哭了，一不小心就撞到在一棵树上。我又想起了一首古诗：“南北山头多墓田，清明祭扫各纷然;纸灰飞作白蝴蝶，泪血染成红杜鹃。”

I also thought of an ancient poem: "there are many tombs in the north and south of the mountain, and there are different kinds of tomb sweeping during the Qingming Festival; paper ashes fly as white butterflies, and tears and blood turn into red cuckoos."
开始放鞭炮了，可爱的小弟被吓得紧紧蒙上自己的眼睛，大家都被他的可爱相逗笑了。

今天，我明白了一个道理：清明节是我们纪念祖先的节日，好的传统要坚持，对祖先一定要尊重，因为没有祖先就没有我们。
